Our dream to replace the old Dania Home with a new building has now materialized. The new Dania Home comprises of 6 neighbourhoods on 2 floors, a total of 102 rooms. These are connected but can also be operated independently if needed. This enables Dania Home to serve several different needs in adjoining neighbourhoods.
Each room includes a single electric bed, arm chair, night table with a locked drawer, a wardrobe and a private bathroom.
We invite you to personalize your living space with items that will create a greater sense of home. These may include a television, radio or clock (must be CSA approved and cleared by Dania’s maintenance prior to use). Paintings, photos and ornaments on your rooms picture rail are also welcome additions to your personal living space. Additional furniture items must be approved and not compromise safety of the resident or staff. Lamps with halogen bulbs and rocking chairs are not permitted.
