The Future of Affordable Housing at Dania
With the number of seniors in Burnaby and Metro Vancouver needing affordable housing, Dania has invested actively in its facilities, programs and services to create an enriching, caring and safe community where seniors can age-in-place. As of the Fall of 2022, Dania will begin construction of the 'Dania Affordable Housing Project' that totals well over $60 million in value: This project is a six story, wood-frame, 155 unit building being funded with the help of BC Housing. The anticipated opening is Spring of 2025.
