Letter from Dania Executive Director Lui Franciosi — October 2022

Dear Residents and Families of Dania,

I would like you to invite you to attend our Accreditation Canada Survey scheduled next week from October 30 to November 2, 2022. This organization assesses senior care communities like Dania Home and Dania Manor against standards developed by Health Standards Organization (HSO), International Standards Organization (ISO) and others. These world-class standards enable us to provide the highest achievable quality for our residents in care. Dania has succeeded over the last 10 years to meet Accreditation Canada’s highest ‘Exemplary’ status.

This Survey has a particular session entitled ‘Client and Family Engagement Focus Group’ that is specific to you. It gives the surveyors an opportunity to hear your stories about the quality of care at Dania. They also like to hear about your involvement in planning and service design, including quality and safety issues. It is happening next Tuesday, November 1st from 1pm to 2pm. You may choose to attend either onsite or virtually at the following times:
